Calathea Makoyana are so unique and intricately detailed. They are also known as the “peacock plant” because of the markings on their leaves and their ability to show off. They have intricate dark green hash marks and lovely round ovals that are deep green on the front and burgundy on the backside.
Care Needs: Typically I advise that you keep your calathea away from drafty areas, and in a bright space without direct light, and with a humidifier or diffuser nearby to make your calathea extra happy. During the summer, keep the soil moist, in the winter, let the top half of the soil dry out.
